Today is my 30th birthday and I am in the process of coming up with a list of 30 things I’m going to do this week to celebrate my 30th. The older I get the younger I feel! Getting older to me means that you get more opportunities to try new things and have more fun. For those of you who are already 30, what did you do to ring in your 30th birthday? For those not yet thirty, what would you plan to do for your 30th? I am excited to share with you the adventures I take this week! Sky diving being the first on my bucket list!
My birthday started off with a bang! My boyfriend planned a surprise getaway adventure to Miramichi in New Brunswick, Canada to go river tubing with Gallan’s Miramichi River Tubing and to stay overnight at the beautiful Scooner Point Log Cabins. We had an incredible time. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week will bring! That’s 2 items on my list of 30… 28 to go…
Happy birthday TC 🙂
I love the new profile pic! (is that DR?)
I went bowling for my 30th with all my friends, and hubby gave me money and made me spend it on ME 🙂
Have fun 🙂
You inspire me to create a bucket list.

Thank you so much! The new profile picture is in Mexico close to Playa Del Carmen. Have you been?
Bowling with a group of friends is so much fun. I just went glow bowling a few weeks ago with friends.
You really should make a bucket list of things you want to do this year (and for each birthday). What would you put on it?
Happy birthday again! I totally agree with you, getting older means more experience, more opportunities and more courage to try new things! Next year I’ll be turning 40. And although it is a little scary, I’m planning a big party! I love birthdays! I think we always should celebrate life! In my 30th birthday I invited my family and best friends for a barbecue, I had wonderful time! ; )

Thanks so much! It is all about living life to the fullest! Sounds like you know how to do that! What kind of party are you planning?
By the way, you don’t look even close to 40! Pretty lady you are!
Thanks for the compliment! Me and my husband enjoy going out to dance, but since we had aour son, we don’t go out too much, so I’m planning a party in a nightclub or something like that, where we can enjoy the night having a drink, dancing and chatting with our friends!.
That sounds like so much fun! Dancing is the best, especially with a lot of friends.
Happy 30th! What a memorable way to celebrate a milestone birthday 🙂 We celebrated our 30th by treating ourselves with a trip to China
Thank you so much!
That’s a great way to celebrate…with a trip to China~! Incredible! You guys will have to top it when you turn 40!
I booked a two week trip to the USA for my 30th, taking in LA, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Yosemite and San Francisco. When I told my family and friends they said ‘you can’t go away on your own for your birthday’. I said ‘yes I can’ and went anyway. I had an amazing time. Happy birthday x
That sounds like the most incredible 30th birthday trip! I agree with you…yes you can plan your own birthday adventures! My friends were shocked that I wanted to plan my own as well. Why not?
Any adventures planned anytime soon?
I’m saving for a trip to Alaska at the moment – will hopefully get there in 2014!
That’s an amazing option.
I went to Alaska in 2010 and it was incredible!
Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a fantastic time. How is the River Tubing? I’d LOVE to try it with my boyfriend.
Thank you so much! The birthday is going great! I still have a few more birthday activities planned this week (skydiving included). I just posted an article about the River Tubing today…https://turquoisecompass.wordpress.com/2013/08/07/tubing-down-the-miramichi-river/
So awesome getting to read about your travels and adventures! Looking forward to reading more!
Thank you so much! I am glad you are enjoying my journey! It is nice to have people along for the ride!
A belated happy birthday!
Thank you so much
