The Fields of Natomas

Turquoise Compass Photo ShootNatomas is a community in Sacramento, California known for its fields, farmland, fresh produce, and open space. Much of Sacramento has yet to be developed and the vast fields span for miles. I often enjoyed walking through the fields under the afternoon sunlight. A local amateur photographer offered to do a photo shoot for Turquoise Compass. I’ve been wanting to post some professional pictures on my blog which really show case my personality and love for life. I’m ecstatic with how the pictures turned out. I’m excited to share with you my photo shoot.

Fields of Natomas

It was so much fun doing the photo shoot in the fields of Natomas. My blog Turquoise Compass reflects my passion for living life to the fullest, while looking for new opportunities. These pictures signify what Turquoise Compass is all about: exploration, learning, curiosity, joy, laughter, and the journey of life. Follow along as I continue to travel full-time during my time off over the next 11 months.

  1. YOU are GORGEOUS!
I love the closeup of your face!!!! FRAME THAT and LOOK AT YOU!!
My other favorite … is of you standing in the field with the two green lines. There is something very powerful about YOU in the picture. And the one where you are standing and looking to your left off …it is as if you OWN the picture. When I look at self portraits, that is the capture that takes my breath away. You are not looking at the camera, you are looking at the “picture”.
Great job on the photographers part.

    • Thank you SO much for the fabulous and thoughtful comments! It was a fun day! I just wanted to really show case my personality and he did a great job doing so! Those pictures are so me…confident, strong, fun, care-free, yet serious! The one of me looking to the side I love! I’m thinking!
      Thanks again girl!
