Brisbane is one of those cities you need to see in both the daylight and twilight. From the Business District, Queen Street Mall, Eagle Street Pier, Brisbane Gardens, Brisbane River Walk, River Green, South Bank Parklands, and Kangaroo Point you need to see the stunning views both day and night.
Brisbane is my second home. I’m in England for a while and miss this great lively city – so it’s great to see your pics 🙂

So happy that I brought back cherished memories of your time in Brisbane. It was fun wondering about the city day and night. What do you love best about Brisbane?

I enjoy strolling along South Bank, calling in for a coffee or an ice-cream(or both) and cooling off in the art galleries, then a ride on the CityCat to Riverside for a walk up Queen Street where there’s often live music during the day on a weekend.

I loved the South Bank and Greens! It’s so beautiful, along with the turquoise City Beach in the middle of the city. I didn’t make it to any of the art galleries, that would have been a great place to cool off. I did go see a movie one evening though! It was SO HOT in Brisbane when I was there.

Beautiful pictures! I do love seeing a city by day but night tends to be more awe-inspiring, depending on the city.

Pretty cool isn’t it? A lot of people skip Brisbane. Even though it is not right on the beach I thought I should give it a go. It was well worth the visit.

Brings back happy memories of the first time I went travelling, over 15 years ago. My first city was Brisbane and I loved it!

The buildings. All of my life has been lived in small to large towns, but never cities. We like small town life and drive to cities when we want adventure.

Yeah I know what you mean. There is something to be said about living in small town, while exploring big cities. I feel quite the opposite really. At home, I prefer to live in a big city, while visiting small places while traveling. Weird isn’t it?
