Turquoise Thursday: Brisbane
The last place I would expect to find a beach would be in the middle of a large metropolitan city, yet Brisbane has its very own City Beach in the middle of the city. A manmade beach can be found in the South Bank Parklands where locals go to get relief from the blazing sun in the concrete city. The hot and humid weather draws locals and tourists alike to this turquoise hideaway on the Riverside Green.
Have you seen anything like this?
They sometimes build a beach in the centre of London when the weather is nice in the summer, although I don’t think there’s any water 🙂

In London? Wow, that sounds amazing! They must have to pump all the water in, haha!

I love the picture of the purple flowers! I love the green, purple, and blue colors all coming together like that. I think I’m deprived of that right now as my world is still gray and white.

I know right? The purple flowers looks amazing among all the other colours. Spring is near~!

If only I had the time to have seen this, I spent way to much time wandering the cbd in 35 degrees. I should have been here! Hope your travels are going seamlessly ~~ cheers

Aww that is too bad. Brisbane is sweltering hot as you know so it would have been good for you to find this. Now you know it is there. The travels are going well, even when things don’t seem to be working out as planned.

Oh my goodness! Glad it wasn’t me! I didn’t see any when I was on the Noosa River or in the Everglades, but apparently they lurk in the water under the very boat I was rowing in..
