Turquoise Thursday: Pacific Coast of Costa Rica

With the -35C temperatures outside, I can’t help but imagine a more tropical destination. This frozen winter is making me long for Spring to come (surprise, surprise). I am a summer baby all the way. I was lucky enough to skip last winter for Australia, but the winter before wasn’t as cold as this one. I’m struggling. So needless to say, I’m in a little bit of shock.

This is where I want to be:Costa Rica

    • Well, there is another place to add to your ever growing bucket list, or at least that’s what happens to my list. I went to Costa Rica with a group of students for their spring break. It was incredible! We did everything possible from zip lining, horse back riding, kayaking, and visiting volcanos! It’s amazing!

  1. I escaped Boston after the first blizzard two weeks ago, and am ensconced on the island of Kauai, for me, the most beautiful magical land of this world. Especially since I’m not shoveling six feet of snow!!

  2. We’re definitely ready for Spring here in Wales! Keep the beach pictures coming, the weather is so bad here at the moment that it’s not safe to go anywhere near our beaches. Bring on the sun! 🙂

    • Yes indeed! It has been a brutal winter that’s for sure. Same here, I am currently snowed in after being blasted by yet again another blizzard. Have you seen the news reports about Canada’s east coast getting hammered by snow? It’s pretty bad.

      • Yes, I saw some pictures of the snow on the east coast today. It looks crazy! Thankfully, one thing we haven’t really had much of this year is snow (us Brits don’t deal with snow well :)) Stay safe x

      • I posted some pictures of the snow on my Turquoise Compass Facebook page today. Us Canadians don’t deal with snow well either. We complain and moan all winter just to get through, or at least that’s what I do.
