Taste Testing in Portland Maine
For spring break this year my fiancé and I took a spontaneous trip to Portland Maine for a getaway. Since Portland Maine is within driving distance from New Brunswick we felt it was the perfect place for a little vacation. As much as we wanted to go somewhere tropical (and far far away) it just wasn’t financially smart with our upcoming wedding this year. We hoped to find a last minute vacation to the Caribbean within our budget, but we didn’t find anything. Although we didn’t make it to the Caribbean we still went south–to south Portland. 5 Incredible Musts when in Oahu, Hawaii
I knew I would find an abundance of turquoise in Hawaii. I’ve always imagined Hawaii to be a place where houses would be painted turquoise. I was right. From the beautiful turquoise coloured beaches, to the island’s décor, turquoise can be spotted. It would appear that Hawaii’s colour of choice is turquoise. I couldn’t capture all that is turquoise on Oahu. There is turquoise around every corner, which left a permanent smile on my face. Continue reading
11 Hour Layover in Los Angeles
It would appear that Los Angeles is my second home because I am there so often. I think it just might be! It seems that every flight I take I connect through LA. Many of the workshops I attend are also in the LA area. I have been in the LA area more times than I can count in the last 7 months. I’m happy to connect through LA anytime; it is a great place to be. If any place will become my home away from home I am happy to make it LA. Was I meant to be born a California girl? Continue reading
