Many of you may have noticed that I have me M.I.A. If you read my July blog post We’re on the Move Again|Moving with the Tides to Halifax then you know that we’ve left Toronto behind for another adventure–we’re heading back to the east coast and to my home province this time: Nova Scotia. I haven’t lived in Nova Scotia since I graduated high school some 15 years ago and I’m ecstatic to make Nova Scotia my home once again. We are moving to our FOURTH city in less than 12 months and with this new transition, I have been consumed with the move and all that it involves as you would expect, especially when relocating to a new province. Although I am not actively posting here on the blog, I am regularly posting on social media: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest . If you want to stay up to date with what’s going on in my life reach out to me on social media as I would love to hear from you. Continue reading
It’s official! This has been my best kept secret! Today is my husband’s first day of work at Porter Airlines–he’s one of the newest members of the Porter team! I’m so excited to be a part of the Porter family and for our Porter journey to begin. I’ve always loved flying with Porter and it’s my go-to airline when flying within Canada and the United States, but now it’s even more exciting since my husband will be flying the planes! I can’t wait for the day when my husband can fly ME to a new and unexplored destination. Porter flies to 24 destinations in Canada and the U.S., with many of its fabulous destinations being places I’ve never actually explored like Mont Tremblant, Pittsburgh, Myrtle Beach, Chicago, Charleston, and beyond. I’m already planning where I want to go first. Let the wanderlust continue! Continue reading
View of downtown Toronto and the CN Tower on my way to London, Ontario in a two-seater Diamond Aircraft. My first flying lesson went incredibly well.
Having a boyfriend as a pilot has its benefits. We have the privilege of renting a plane anytime we like to fly wherever we like. We get to spend our travel time together and we don’t have to share the aircraft with anyone else. We can travel on our schedule, not someone else`s. We have had the opportunity to fly over our subdivision, Moncton New Brunswick, Hopewell Rocks, Fundy Park, the Chocolate River (also known as the Petitcodiac River), and to see the world`s highest tides from above!
